A Word About Offering
During this temporary season, with our regular worship service being transitioned to a digital one, we must address a change in a part of worship we call Offering. While our Offering is a very practical way for us to support the church, our offering is not first and foremost about the health of the church, but the health of our hearts. During a difficult season, our tendancy is to look at our resources to protect and sustain us. Yet, the time of Offering in worship is God’s way of distancing our hearts from the item we are most likely to idolize.
